| There are many season's to an athletes year, even if they are playing 3 sports. There is Pre-Season, Post Season, In-Season and of course the Off-Season. All of which have different training methods and philosophies.
Below is a specific program developed for Off-Season Hockey Conditioning called "Off-Ice Conditioning". It is designed to develop the athletes speed, agility, power, on-ice performance and help prevent injuries during the season. We can develop a program like this for any sport or team.
6-Week Off Ice Conditioning Program! This is an opportunity to enhance performance while decreasing risk of in-season injury. This hockey-specific conditioning program is ideal for all ability levels focused on those who wish to increase on-ice performance and gain an edge over the competition!
Program Components:
- Education and instruction on strength training, proprioception and flexibility.
- Hockey Specific Speed, Agility and Quickness Training.
- Plyo-metrics, core strength & agility to increase power, explosiveness, and stability.
- Upper body exercises to increase shot power, stick strength and toughness.
- Pre and post testing of agility, speed, power, and acceleration
The training is age appropriate training for Bantam and high school aged players.
