For 7-10 weeks (May-August), we will work with college level athletes to help reduce risk of future injury and improve general and sport specific fitness. The program meets 3 days per week for 1 hour sessions.
THE WORKOUT
The workouts focus on improving your ability to move the body efficiently and effectively and developing strength to improve performance in the sports you play or compete in. The major components of each workout include:
- Dynamic and Functional Warm-up
- Balance and stabilization
- Speed development
- Explosive power
- Acceleration and deceleration techniques
- Linear and lateral movement mechanics
- Core (abdominal) strength
- Functional strength training
